im writing a paper about religious perspectives on bioethics»> abortion. its hard finding an unbiased source on Christianity and abortion on the internet…. on either stance. so many of these essays infuriate me.

haha not really but do you still need to write the essay? I actually just sat in my girls class last week when a scientist gave a lecture on GMO. Most religious perspectives obviously view it as taking “God’s role” of “judgment” and “creation.” Now you have pro life vs. pro choice. Pro life’s general outlook: The morality behind abortion is completely disobedient to common religious teachings/beliefs such as can be found in 2 of the bibles 10 commandments: thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not commit adultery.
Adultery can be considered anything from cheating to premarital sex. So blatantly pro choice thinks that single women with babies is already a serious crisis, and now to put the choice of life (who in their view should only be done by their Deities or God) in these womens hands is terribly wrong. In everybody’s conception it should be truly wrong to take a life, but obviously there are circumstances of rape, peer pressure, and broken communication amongst a very diverse generation. As our knowledge increases, so do our responsibilities, and Pro-choice thinks that these responsibilities and this kind of knowledge is in the wrong hands (wordly, mortal hands). Pro-choice argues the time the abortion takes place in the development of the fetus or what not, does not take a life, whereas pro-choice says that life starts as soon as the sperm cell gets to that egg (im not sure exactly on that last sentence.) Pro-choice also may propose adoption as a better choice as well, viewing it as a way to give that life a chance.
Altogether, men should wrap it or go home and wack it, cause if she aint on those pills, have fun climbing those hills. That would avoid this whole debate. Safe sex—doesn’t just mean with a condom, or birth control at that…but in turn it means you have a trustworthy partner and have already confronted eachother about sex and about yours and your partners health and hygiene. <——My opinion
